SVQF visit to Salabwek 2007
In August 2007, the members of the SVQF Board, along with Craig and Marc Kielburger, visited the Salabwek community to view first-hand the project’s progress.
The Board met with community leaders and the Free The Children staff members involved in the project, including the Kenya Program Director, the Africa Health Project Manager, the Africa Projects Director, and the Building Engineer. The Board also toured the schools and visited neighboring communities participating in Free The Children’s Adopt-a-Village Program.
The progress in Salabwek was impressive, as is the level of commitment and dedication shown by the community members.
