Sanam Vaziri Quraishi SANAM VAZIRI QURAISHI

Founder and Chairman of the Board

Ms. Quraishi attended UCLA, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts degree in French literature. She received a Juris Doctor from Southwestern University of Law, and is a member of the California State Bar and the Bar of the District of Columbia.

Ms. Quraishi has been a Member of the Clinton Global Initiative since 2006. She sits on the Doc2Dock Advisory Board and The Town School Trustee Board. She was the Executive Producer of Students of the World documentaries for five years.

Ms. Quraishi lives in New York City with her husband and their two children.


Shahid H. Quraishi SHAHID H. QURAISHI

Co-Founder

Mr. Quraishi is a Managing Director in fixed income capital markets at RBS. He was previously a Vice Chairman at NewOak Capital, a Managing Director and the Joint Global Head of Mortgage-Backed Securities and Asset-Backed Finance and Lending for UBS Investment Bank, and Co-Head of Asset-Backed Finance at Banc of America Securities.

Mr. Quraishi received a Bachelor of Science degree in International Finance and a Masters in Business Administration from George Washington University. He later received a Masters in Business Taxation from the University of Southern California.

He lives in New York City with his wife and their two children.


Corinne A. Richardson CORINNE A. RICHARDSON

Executive Director and Secretary of the Board

Ms. Richardson received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Princeton University, with a concentration in the Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs and a certificate in Latin American Studies. Ms. Richardson later studied at the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies in Bologna, Italy, and received her Juris Doctor from Georgetown University Law Center.


Frank Popp FRANK POPP

Treasurer of the Board

Frank Popp is a senior international strategic planning and project management consultant with a strong interest in social and public policy issues. In addition to his work with SVQF, Frank is also leading a project for the Wildlife Conservation Society. Prior to his current engagements, Frank worked for more than 13 years in strategic planning and business development in Europe, Asia, and North America at various organizations, including American Express, the World Bank Institute, UBS Warburg, and A.T. Kearney.

Frank graduated from MIT with a BS in Economics and a minor in writing, and also has earned an MBA from Columbia Business School as well as a Master of International Affairs from Columbia’s School of International and Public Affairs.


David S. Martin DAVID S. MARTIN

David S. Martin is a managing partner at BTG Pactual. Prior to joining BTG Pactual, he was a managing director at Barclays Capital in the fixed income division running a proprietary trading group involved in the US mortgage and asset-backed markets. Before joining Barclays in 2008 he worked for UBS AG for 18 years in a variety of roles ultimately running the global interest rate business and serving on the board of directors of the investment bank. David spent time on the board of the Bond Market Association and served as the chairman of the MBS/ABS executive committee for a number of years.

David was born and raised in New Jersey and has been married to his wife Jacqui since 1991. Jacqui, David and their two sons now live in Scarsdale, NY after spending 16 years living in Manhattan. They are very involved in supporting the education of children with Autistic Spectrum Disorders (ASD) and helping inform the public about this rapidly spreading disorder.

David graduated from Carnegie-Mellon University in 1987 with a BS in Applied Mathematics and Industrial Management.
