“Portraits of Commitment” screening for Students of the World
Portraits of Commitment: 2007 Clinton Global Initiative documentaries. The screening benefit was held on November 3, 2007, at the Broad Street, Ballroom in New York City with over 150 guests. The program featured documentary shorts, which included global health in Benin, poverty alleviation in New Orleans, and human trafficking in Thailand. The multi-media exhibit and the evening’s speakers exposed the viewers to some of the practical and measurable ways in which organizations are successfully tackling the problems facing the world today, and inspired their financial support.
